2008-2009 Hunting Overview

Lodging and meals are included in the price of your hunt. We provide comfortable, clean, rural lodging and some of Iowa’s most tasteful, satisfying meals.

We have a fully equipped kitchen for your convenience with extra refrigerator and freezer space. Laundry facilities are available at the lodge as well. We serve breakfast, sack lunch to go for noon, and a full evening meal.

Prime hunting for Iowa Whitetail Deer occurs during the Fall rut period. There are many outstanding bucks taken in the Iowa River area. We hunt from tree stands and ground blinds.

These are a 3-day hunts. We hunt in Central Iowa and South Central Iowa on public and private land. Non-residents may not hunt the Fall season.

New Mexico has a draw-tag system. The deadline for submitting applications in this area is late April and the actual draw occurs in July.
