Welcome! Whether you're interested in bagging a trophy whitetail buck, getting the chance to bag an Iowa Gobbler, or spending time tracking a trophy elk, Iowa River Outfitters can provide all the resources necessary to bring such a hunt together. Backed by years of field experience, our guides have the skill and experience it takes to help you create the hunt of a lifetime. Iowa Deer You may choose from Archery, Muzzleloader, or Shotgun. All hunts are 5 days. A hunter can expect to see many deer daily and 130 class bucks and above are not uncommon. On the ground we own and lease, 200 + class bucks have been taken and observed by our guides. The Iowa DNR sets hunting dates each year. Prime hunting for Iowa whitetail deer occurs during the Fall rut period. There are many outstanding bucks taken in the Iowa River area. We have great deer food sources and excellent habitat. We hunt from tree stands and ground blinds. Click Here for More Information Iowa Spring Turkey Spring turkey season is an excellent time to get out and enjoy the Iowa outdoors. This hunt is fast becoming one of Iowa’s most exciting. Our Eastern Turkey range from 20 to 25 pounds and 25 to 30 pound birds are in the area. This is a 3-day hunt. We hunt in Central Iowa and South Central Iowa as well for Spring Turkey. Non-residents may not hunt the Fall season. Click Here for More Information New Mexico Elk Hunts Elk hunts are provided by our associates in Ruduso, New Mexico. These hunts are semi and fully guided. The elk hunts take place on private and public land and you may choose to hunt using muzzle load, rifle, or archery. Guides are knowledgeable and experienced.
